Improved Communication

As I talk with parents and teachers in the community, a common theme is that many do not feel like the Board hears their concerns or gives them an opportunity to be involved in improving the school system.

I recommend:

  1. Holding monthly meetings with teachers and administrators to hear from them about the challenges and areas of improvement.

  2. Holding quarterly “town hall” meetings with parents to hear their concerns and relay those to the Board.

  3. Establishing a parent advisory committee to discuss relevant topics and be involved in policy decisions.
